Collaboration for Small Business Success

small business teamSmall business success depends on so many factors. First of all, I think we each have our own definition of what ‘success’ is.  For some, it is the independence of being their own boss. For others it’s the flexibility of determining their own work hours and environment. For many, success is measured in dollars.

Regardless of how you define it, finding success, and maintaining it, takes constant consideration. A successful entrepreneur looks at new and interesting ways to develop his business. She thinks outside the box to find the path to increased sales, expanded product offerings, and exceptional customer service.

Collaboration is one way to expand your reach and inject new ideas into your business approach. As a writer and SEO content consultant, I depend a great deal on skilled technical web development professionals, graphic designers and marketing strategists to service my growing client base.  To that end, I’m delighted to be included among the Associates at Communication Associates.  Each member of this group of marketing and communication professionals brings a different skill to the table. Many of them offer years of diverse experience giving depth and dimension to the collective.

We each carry on our business activities as the sole proprietors we are.  We also offer a ‘virtual agency’ experience for clients who simply want all their marketing and communication needs handled in one place.

Visit the new Communication Associates website to see what this team can offer.

Marnie, you have been a strong producer within and supporter of the collaboration. One other advantage to both our team at Communication Associates and our clients is flexibility. We can quickly assemble the right team to fit the parameters of any project and are not boxed in by staff limitations or work load. Thanks for you blog. Eric

Having moved from the corporate to the independent operation, I find collaboration both necessary and rewarding. Apart from having access to colleagues for a wider skill set I mostly appreciate the opportunity to have a more diverse sounding board for ideas and the exposure to new ones.
